Our legacy and foundation
Chander Hasi is named after Chandbanu Bibi and dedicated to all the mothers out there. Those who sacrifice numerous thing from their pain, health and time to birth a child, milk them and raise them into men and women. Men and women who later uptake various roles and positions from being the President, the leader of a unity; to a worker the basic foundation of the community; and everything in between. And to maintain this foundation, health is needed.
Medical Care is very important. It is part of the 5 basic needs that were induced for humanity to survive. A minimum quality of service and diagnosis is needed for ourselves, our family members, our friends and the people of Habiganj. Many of us have witnessed the non-credible diagnosis and health services mainly being present in the private sector.
With motivation from the Habiganj DC office, Muktijudha Command, Civil Surgeon Office and local leaders, we have formed Chander Hasi Hospital Limited in 2013. After having observed various stages of parenthood for both ourselves and our family members, we the youngsters of Jagadishpur and Habiganj took it upon ourselves to aid to the formation of this hospital.
